The shelf over-ride box will move the compact shelves EVEN IF SOMETHING OR SOMEONE IS IN THE ISLE!!  Be sure to check to make sure the isle is CLEAR before moving the shelves.

 If a patron asks for the Global Trunks - they are alphabetized by country and located in the workroom on the lower level.  They check out to patrons just like any other material.  Keyword search for "global trunk" plus "country name"

When students are taking the virtual tour of the IMC http://library.appstate.edu/elearn/imc  they may come to the desk saying they cannot find their book.  Please follow these steps:

• walk them to the shelf explaining how the IMC is laid out and how to look for the call # they have IF you cannot find the book . . .
• take them back to the desk and give them the magic barcode for the IMC tour written on the index card located at each desk station.  They will need it to continue their virtual tour.
