Items that are "in processing" or "on order"

There is an established procedure for handling items with an "in processing" status  as well as "on order".   When a patron asks for an "in processing" item, Jack Love notifes Pam Trivette with the item information and the patron name.  Pam will then expedite the processing, the patron's name will be placed on a notify slip and the item is brought to the Circulation Desk.  Jack then places a hold on the item for the patron, activate the hold,  and the patron will receive an email notification that the item is ready for pickup.
